The 3 exciting speakers set to inspire attendees at the first Figure Fest are:

  • Lillian Grace, the data visionary who founded Figure.NZ and now Figure Group
  • Chris McDowall, the co-author of We Are Here: An Atlas of Aotearoa, 2019’s breathtakingly beautiful data visualisation book
  • Anya Satyanand, CEO of the Prince’s Trust and a true champion of rangatahi / youth in Aotearoa.

With a theme of “using data to thrive”, the kaupapa / purpose of this free event is to:

  • fill the audience with inspiration and ideas on how to use data to thrive, and why we should help others to do the same
  • share the kaupapa / purpose of Figure.NZ with people who care about New Zealand
  • give back to Figure.NZ’s supporters
  • launch Māori business and community as areas of focus for Figure.NZ.

Attendees are a dynamic mix of folks from the worlds of business, government, and not-for-profit. Places are limited to 100 and registrations are filling up fast, so register now to avoid missing out.

To register, visit the registration page.

If a participant engages in harassing behaviour, the event organisers may take any action they deem appropriate, including warning the offender or expulsion from the event with no refund.

If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of event staff immediately.

Figure.NZ will be happy to provide escorts, help participants contact the police, or otherwise assist those experiencing harassment to feel safe for the duration of the event.

We expect participants to follow these rules at all event venues and event-related social events.
